When RAID technology hit the scene in the 1980s, Winchester Systems introduced one of the first RAID storage systems for the DEC VAX. In the mid-1990s, Winchester expanded to offer FlashDisk, an OpenRAID storage system that would work with any mid-range server, and has emerged as a powerhouse for organizations needing the highest productivity and reliability for the enterprise. Major organizations such as Partners Healthcare, Dana Farber, Hon Industries, Westinghouse, UCLA, City of Milpitas, NASA, Thomson Financial, Caltech, US Army; all rely on our enterprise storage solution products daily.
